Marsalis is an original modular sofa bed with narrow armrests and a deep seat, designed exclusively for Milano Bedding by the renowned French designer Christophe Pillet. The collection features a range of modular elements with different functions and sizes, including two/three-seater armchairs and sofas, available in fixed or convertible options, allowing for highly personalised interior configurations in terms of dimensions, upholstery, and accessories.
Inspired by minimalist interior design trends, Marsalis showcases a contemporary aesthetic that plays with the contrast between shapes and volumes, resulting in a lightly upholstered furniture piece, akin to a modern living room sofa. The sleek appearance of the slender base, with ultra-slim, space-saving armrests, harmoniously juxtaposes with the substantial dimensions of the polyurethane foam cushions, intentionally designed to be relaxed and inviting, boasting an impressive depth of nearly 110 cm. Meticulously crafted with meticulous attention to detail, Marsalis is an ideal centrepiece for any room, offering upholstery options in fabric, leather, or faux leather to cater to individual taste and aesthetic preferences.
As a contemporary lounge sofa, Marsalis incorporates a bed with a slatted base and a 200cm mattress, available in single, large single, French double, and standard sizes. The transformation process is facilitated by the user-friendly opening system, which involves removing the seat cushions and pulling the seats to the front. Safe and easy to use, the patented Lampolet mechanism ensures strength, durability, and reliability.
