Details
Shorter is a sofa bed with goose down padding characterised by flared armrests with a retro look. It is available as a 2 or 3 seater.
Its refined shape is combined with a great attention to the sofa comfort: Shorter is designed to comfortably accommodate your guests and you during day and night. The sofa cushions have in fact a feather padding with inserts in high resilience polyurethane, while the bed is available with a wide choice of mattresses that can suit any need in terms of support. Being greatly customisable in the cover materials and colours, Shorter is suitable for both formal and informal environments: fabric, leather and eco-leather fit every taste and style, and moreover, if you want to add modern touch, it is possible to add chromed metal rods to cover the feet.
Milano Bedding design always goes hand in hand with high technical performances, practicality and functionality. Shorter is always equipped with Lampolet mechanisms that allows you to easily open and close the bed without removing any cushion at all.

Mattress
All models include a Standard h.14 mattress with Bonnel biconical springs. As an alternative, several other models with pocket springs, in polyurethane or latex are also available.

Cover
Shorter is available in fabric, eco-leather and leather in all the colours displayed in the samples page. The sofa bed cover can be completely removed.
Feet
As a standard the sofa bed is equipped with black plastic feet. The linear sofa beds and the armchair can be also equipped with front and rear chromed metal rods.

Mechanism or structure: high resistance steel tube epoxy baked painted. Orthopaedic bed with quality continental weld-mesh, fixed to the frame with springs. Sofa bed seat made with webbing. Opening and closing operations with one single movement.
Standard mattress: interior “Bonnel” springing made of a Ø 2,20 mm hardened steel; 15 mm expanded polyurethane foam 30 Kg/m³ each side; 100% PL fabric quilted with 100% polyester fibre g 200/m² and non-woven; 100% PL fabric quilted sides.
Frame: backrest in high resistance steel tube epoxy baked painted. Armrests: solid fir, particle wood and hardboard. Headboard: solid fir and particle wood. Non-bearing front panel in particle wood.
Padding
Seat: white goose/duck down and polyester/cotton cloth with 35 Kg/m³ CMHR expanded polyurethane insert, covered with 280 and 380 g/m² thermo-bonded needled fibre and mm 2,5 quilted interliner.
Backrest: white goose/duck down and polyester/cotton cloth with 25 Kg/m³ expanded polyurethane insert covered with 280 and 380 g/m² thermo-bonded needled fibre and mm 2,5 quilted interliner.
Armrests: 40 and 30 kg/m³ expanded polyurethane, covered with interliner combined with 200 g/m² resin fibre.
Structure: 30 kg/m³ expanded polyurethane, covered with interliner combined with 200 g/m² resin fibre.
Foot rod (optional): chromed metal.
