Clarke XL is a modern shabby chic sofa bed available as a two or three seater with an XL single, French, double or king size mattress. The deep structure, together with the wide seat cushion, offer an exceptional level of comfort, perfect to rest, read, watch TV and - thanks to Soft padding - also to sleep. This type of seat, higher than a standard cushioning, is definitely softer and cosier than the standard ones.
Clarke has a romantic yet quite clean line, with a shabby chic flavour and it features a soft informal cover with a creased effect perfect to furnish small or big living areas, one-room flats, kids bedrooms, guest bedrooms and holiday homes. For this reason, other than comfortable, Clarke is also very appealing aesthetically.
A sofa that is comfortable both during the day and the night, thanks to the single-cushion seat and the wide range of mattresses available. Lampolet opening mechanism is simple and quick, just pull towards yourself the backrest and follow the drop down movement by pulling the base gently towards the floor. The included mattress is 11 cm high but other h.12 cm mattresses are also available in innovative materials such as latex, pocket springs and memory foam.

Clarke XL includes a Standard h.11 in crushproof expanded polyurethane that can be replaced with other h.12 cm models.

Cover
The sofa bed is available in fabric, faux-leather and leather in a wide range of colours, all displayed in the samples page.
The cover can be removed and washed according to the specifics of each material.

Mechanism: high resistance steel tube epoxy baked painted. Orthopedic bed with quality continental weld-mesh, fixed to the frame with springs. Opening and closing operations with one single movement.
Mattress standard: expanded polyurethane foam 35 Kg/m³ CMHR covered on both sides with 100% PL stretch fabric quilted with 100% polyester fiber 200 g/m² and nonwoven.
Frame: back: fir, poplar plywood and webbing. Armrests and front panel (nonbearing) in particle wood. Headboard: solid fir, particle wood and multilayer fir.
Padding:
Seat: Expanded polyurethane foam 35 Kg/m3 “Soft”, covered with interliner combined with PL fibre 280 g/m2 + PL fibre 400 g/m2 and 2,5 mm quilted interliner.
Back: Expanded polyurethane foam 22 Kg/m3 ”Soft”, covered with interliner combined with PL fibre 380 g/m2 and 2,5 mm quilted interliner.
Armrests, headboard and front panel: expanded polyurethane foam 30 Kg/m3 covered with interliner combined with 200 g/m2 PL fibre; 2,5 mm. combined interliner.
Sitting on the armrests is not recommended.
